Hello, my name is LeeAnn Reeder. I have been tatting for almost 28 years. Tatting is called the poor man’s lace because the French and English peasants used to tat to make a sturdy, yet elegant, lace that mirrored what the gentry could afford. I am a Homemaker and mother of 6children, three boys and three girls. I have made tatted lace to decorate toddler’s clothing that was washed a million times and loved by two daughters. I have made tatted lace for wedding handkerchiefs to commemorate my nieces’ wedding day with their wedding date embroidered in the corner. I make lace edging for dresses and linens and bookmarks.

My newest project is ear rings with or without beads and crystals. I use different fibers such as YLI Japanese silk, DMC pearl cotton, or Altin Basak metallic wrapped cotton. I use Swarovski crystals and Czech glass beads to embellish the earrings. I would love to create a custom heirloom project for you. You will get noticed when you wear my distinctive ear rings, designed by you and handcrafted by me. I would like to thank Snowgoose Lace for allowing me to use their patterns to delight you.
